Is your teen interested in modeling? Are you considering going down that path but have no clue where to begin or who to trust? You have come to the right place!

Hi, my name is Kj. I am a 26 year old female model and photographer with over 11+ years of experience in the modeling industry. I have experience in all forms of modeling from international magazine campaigns, to walking Miami Swim Week, to local ecommerce shoots. I lived in LA for many years working with brands like Nordstrom, Tillys, Pacsun, Brandy Melville, and many more. I have worked internationally in Milan and Greece, as well as across the United States, from Miami to Milwaukee.

I was originally scouted to model at 15 years old, and two weeks later my mom and I were sitting down in front of one of LA’s top modeling agencies, signing a contract, not knowing a single thing about the industry. The contract, the castings, the test shoots, booking jobs, it’s all so exciting but SO confusing. With very little guidance I was thrust into the ever-growing and changing world of modeling, and I sure learned a lot these past 11 years. Things I wish my mom and I knew when I was 15!

I am here to share that information and knowledge, as well as help get your teen comfortable in front of the camera, and what to expect on a real paid shoot!

Our session will include:

  • 2-3 Hours of shooting, talking, and getting comfortable in front of the camera and on set

  • Digitals to submit to agencies

  • 2-3 Looks for their portfolio

  • Coaching for posing and how to present yourself on set

  • How to take digitals, what to wear

  • How to choose the right agency, and what questions to ask

  • Social Media presence and what clients want to see

  • Advice on dealing with negativity in the industry and how to handle inappropriate situations on set

  • What to expect walking into an agency, once you’re signed, and what a contract really means

  • What to expect on castings, casting wardrobe must-haves, and how to leave an impression

  • Answer any and all questions you may have!

  • This session is to build confidence and have FUN!
